Drawing on archive sources, this free audioguide leads you round the sites associated with Joseph Merrick, the "Elephant Man", his friend, the surgeon Frederick Treves, the pioneering nurse, Eva Luckes and a student of the medical college. Their paths crossed in Whitechapel in the 1880s.
It features the voices of Samuel Barnett, Michael Wagg, Catherine Cusack and Christopher Adams and I created it in collaboration with Nadia Valman of QMUL and Richard Meunier of the Royal London Hospital Museum.
